Technologies, Inc. Receives European Patent
for Replaceable Tip Technology
Houston, TX April 2,
2004 - NeoSurg Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of minimally
invasive access products for laparoscopic surgery, is pleased to announce that
it has been granted a European Patent relating to its replaceable tip delivery
technology. The patent, EP 1071376B1, titled "Trocar with Removable Replaceable
Tip" covers the replaceable tip for its trocar system, the T2000 Reusable Trocar
System. This patent covers the connection feature of the tip.

worldwide for the T2000 Technology.”
Currently, NeoSurg Technology is protected by over 14 patents and patent
applications worldwide.
About the T2000 System
The T2000 System consists of a Reusable Trocar constructed of titanium and hard
anodized aluminum for durability and reliability. The access tip is disposable
which provides the surgeon with a consistently sharp and controlled penetration.
A locking shielding mechanism is attached to the main trocar to guard the tip
during insertion.
